An astronaut searching for life on a remote planet finds an abandoned Russian town. Unaware that he has just set off on the biggest hoax in human history, before long our protagonist encounters a mysterious woman who saves him from an understandingly and deadly phenomenon. Lifeless Planet is a graphics heavy, third-person action adventure with superb scenery overflowing the traces of old style classic action adventures.
The astronaut lands hard on the planet only to find that it is not rich in life, but instead a wasteland. When he goes searching for his crew, he makes a more startling discovery: that humans have already been here centuries ago! He comes upon an abandoned Soviet-era Russian town and finds his mission incomprehensible. Or did his light-speed flight to the planet send him back in time? Or is it all just a weird Cold War joke?
Therefore, the astronaut encounters a Russian woman, Aelita on his way who must also be able to survive. Her skin makes the soil glow green under her feet by means of an unusual natural phenomenon. These glowing trails are the player’s only lead surviving treacherous and deadly perils across the face of this world.Is she guiding him to safety–or a premature death?
We want to tell humankind’s deepest longings with the science fiction of Cold War-era stories about space travel that Lifeless Planet is based on. What if you trekked off to some distant planet in the galaxy, and discovered that humans had already been there?
