Overview PROJECT TACHYON

The Tamageria Republic faces a crisis when an AI called Mainframe OMEGA starts a rebellion. To stop it they have no choice but to launch a nuclear attack. This causes a lot of destruction and many lives are lost. In secret, Commander Elina activates “Project Tachyon” to prevent the world from falling into a nuclear winter. Sigma, an agent in Project Tachyon, has the ability to study the future and travel back in time to fix problems based on what they’ve learned. However, during their mission, Sigma uncovers a shocking truth.

In the game features fast paced combat where you can use both melee and ranged weapons. You’ll fight enemies with powerful action scenes blocking attacks with melee weapons and using ranged weapons to defeat enemies from a distance.

It also has a Roguelite gameplay system where you can pick from over 200 powerful genes to upgrade your abilities. Many genes come in 10 categories and can unlock special effects when combined. But be careful—some genes are malicious, and if you equip too many, they’ll cause penalties. In the game mixes luck and skill so you’ll need to be strategic.

So your weapons can be randomly chosen at different stages, giving you the chance to switch up your combat style. You might get an electric saw to slice through bullets or an acid sprayer to weaken enemies. The map changes every time you play, and you’ll have to find the best route. You can save your stamina for a boss fight or take on extra risks for a bigger reward—it’s your call.

As you progress you’ll unlock new weapons and upgrade them by completing quests. So you can modify and enhance your weapons based on your battle experience, making you stronger for future fights.

So you’ll face huge mutant bosses who are followers of Mainframe OMEGA. Many bosses are different from regular enemies and have tricky attack patterns so you’ll need to upgrade your genes and collect various weapons to beat them.

In the story is also deeply engaging with each character having their own past and secrets. Sigma, who can remember everything, is the only one able to travel through time to understand these characters better and finish the mission.

Through time travel, you’ll collect clues from the future and go back to the past to uncover the truth. Little things you missed in the past can have a big impact on the future. So you’ll need to piece together these clues while the world keeps changing to successfully complete your mission.
