The team who created Painkiller and Bulletstorm made Witchfire, a single-player RPG shooter. In the game you will go on dangerous adventures, fighting enemies to get stronger and improve your weapons. You can collect useful resources and head back to your base, or if you’re feeling brave, you can take on the Familiars—strong guardians of the witch. You may also like to download Ascending Inferno.

To beat the Witch of the Black Sea and her army you’ll need skill and knowledge. If you die you can return to try again either to get back what you lost or to come up with a new plan.

In the game lets you explore big detailed environments and pick your battlegrounds to face off against the witch’s forces. After every battle you get stronger and improve your weapons through a system called Arcana which gives you many ways to build your character and defeat the witch.

The strongest enemies are called preyers. Many are undead assassins powered by witchfire, a magic that keeps them alive. At your base, the Hermitory, you can choose from a variety of weapons, spells, and items to customize your preyer and make them stronger.

On your journey, you can take the loot you find back to base or, if you’re confident enough, challenge the witch’s Familiars to unlock new areas, powerful items, and upgrades.

In the game also has a story where you uncover the past to save the future. So you will investigate crashes of ships near the witch’s land and find an artifact that could change the course of the war between the Church and the witches.

During Early Access, Witchfire will keep changing, with new areas, enemies, weapons, and ways to destroy things. So y You can help shape the game and make it even better!
