You are playing as a hero who took a vow to protect Crystal Core against waves of golems. The ultimate goal of each map is to destroy the enemy crystal core by building golems while defending your crystal core. Golems are made of 3 components. Body, armor, and shield. Each component can be built from different elements. There are 5 prime elements that can be further combined into new elements. This way it is possible to build more than 27000 unique golems with different properties. In order to defend your crystal core you can build defensive towers or take matters into your hands and slice golems with a greatsword.

Gameplay’s core idea revolves around 5 prime elements that interact with each other. Water destroys fire. Fire destroys metal. Metal destroys wood. Wood destroys earth and earth destroys water. Thus completing the cycle of destruction. But before something can be destroyed it must be created first. Water creates wood. Wood creates fire. Fire creates earth. Earth creates metal and metal creates water.
