In Grow Home, you are BUD (Botanical Utility Droid), a robot on a mission to save his home planet by collecting the seeds of an alien monster plant. During his travels BUD will come upon a beautiful world of floating islands where some pretty weird plants and animals get together.
Nurture the big plant, and you use your special climbing abilities to climb a little higher each time. But if one slip of the foot sends you tumbling off backward or onto your back it’s quite some long way down!

- Climbing: With procedural animation, you can move BUD’s hands independently to create a completely unconstrained and novel climbing experience.
- Growing: Build your own paths in the sky. Take on a giant alien plant as its driver and guide! All nature is climbable. Treat it like a bridge, an insurance policy or just another art-making tool.
- Exploration: Explore every corner of the alien world while you hunt and gather crystals which can strengthen BUD’s powers. It is a physical field of play and many alien plants have special properties that can help you on your way.
