Headquarters: World War II – Ardennes is the second DLC for Headquarters: World War II, a fast-paced, turn-based strategy game where your battlefield tactics and army management skills are key to success. You’ll experience two exciting campaigns, one for Germany and one for the US, and battle through 16 tough encounters set in a stunning winter setting. You’ll get to play as both sides in a story that switches perspectives. First, you’ll lead the German attack through the Ardennes, then switch to lead the US counterattack. In this lets you experience important historical moments from both sides.

In the DLC adds 12 new units, including powerful US and UK tanks that can face off against the best German armor. Many new units help you build your strategy in the campaign, skirmish and multiplayer modes.

The story continues after the Normandy landings in the main game and the battles of Operation Market Garden in the first DLC. Now, you’ll dive into December 1944, helping the Allies push back a desperate German offensive while advancing closer to Berlin.

You’ll get to experience winter battles in the Ardennes, saving trapped troops at Bastogne, holding off the German advance at Wardin, and fighting in the tough Battle of St. Vith.

The new content includes two new campaigns with eight missions that will challenge your tactical skills. There are 12 new units to expand your options along with 6 new heroes and stunning winter environments to explore. So you’ll also face new weather and terrain types, along with winter uniforms, camouflage, and achievements.

The new units include the M26 Pershing, M24 Chaffee, M36 Tank Destroyer, 3-inch Gun M5, and T26E4 “Super Pershing” for the US, the Jagdpanzer IV, Panzerwerfer 42, and Wirbelwind for Germany, and the M24 Chaffee, A34 Comet, Centurion Mk.1, and Sherman Firefly Tulip for the UK.

In the German campaign, you’ll play through scenarios like the Battle for Auw, Breakthrough at Andler, and Encirclement at Schoenberg, among others. The US campaign includes Reconnaissance at Martelange, Breakthrough at Burnon, and Battle for Chaumont, along with many other tough missions.
