Shuichiro Minato is a young guy from Tokyo. One winter night, during the Christmas season, he was arrested for causing trouble in public. He tried to explain in court that his actions were a form of self-expression—art—but no one understood. Instead he was sentenced to ten years in prison for being a nuisance and resisting arrest.

So they decided he was too far gone to rehabilitate and sent him to Tulip Prison. Now, in this twisted prison full of dangerous people, Shuichiro has to survive. It is a harsh place and there’s no hope of escaping. One thing is clear—this is no paradise. Hanamaru is a calm woman who treats Shuichiro kindly and becomes the first person he truly opens up to.

So she gives him advice on how to survive the harsh conditions of the prison. Her nickname is “Cultmaster.” “My little sister and I were just pulling a prank…” Kurebayashi, known as “Drone Girl” on the outside for her secret recordings, is just another prisoner inside Tulip Prison. She prefers to be alone and keeps people away with her sharp unfriendly attitude. “I do not like owing people favors. So it would be no exaggeration to say I actually hate it.
