You play as Nieve, a Stagehand who gets kicked out and sent to a place called the Understage. So she ends up controlling a puppet named Drev, who is magically connected to her. Together, they try to make their way back to the main stage above. On their journey they go through forgotten stories, find hidden secrets, and slowly learn how their destiny is tied to the whole theater kingdom.

So you control both the puppet and the puppeteer, using strings to move and solve puzzles in a creative way. So you will meet a lot of interesting characters and have fun dialogues with them. But it’s not all fun — scary shadow creatures will try to stop the show. The world is super detailed and looks like a real stage, switching between the past and the present. You’ll move props, backdrops, and characters to bring scenes back to life and figure out what happened to the old World Stage. In the music and sounds make everything feel even more magical. Add if you pay attention, you’ll find cool hidden items throughout the game.

Nieve and Drev didn’t choose to be partners, but they go on this journey together to take back their place in the theater. Nieve is smart but unsure of herself, while Drev is full of energy and big dreams. So as they face their fears and learn to trust each other, they slowly uncover a deep truth hiding inside both of them and the world around them.
