Ainoshima Academy has two student councils, and they’re always competing against each other. Here’s the breakdown: Gekka Council is a traditional, long-standing council with supporters wearing dark-green skirts, showing off their noble style. Gekka President Alicetia says, “Join Gekka… Let’s be friends…” Tendo Council is a newer council with trendy uniforms like burgundy bolero jackets and pleated skirts.

Tendo President Usagi says, “Join Tendo—let’s get this academy inspired!” The sports teams back Gekka, while the liberal arts clubs support Tendo. Before I came here, the vote between them was tied, and now my vote will decide which council gets the majority. It’s been this way before, and it was a transfer student who broke the tie six years ago. Sounds like a coincidence right? Since I transferred, both councils have been all over me, making my campus life way more complicated than I imagined!

Alicetia Wallenberg Kezouji (Voice: Yuuka Kotorii) is the president of the Gekka Council, and my year-mate. So she comes from a powerful family, but she’s not great at talking to people. Though she tries her best, her serious expression and awkwardness make people think she might curse them if they annoy her. She says, “If I were better at communicating, I wonder if I would have more friends…” Usagi Tsukiyono (Voice: Choco Moca) is a former model turned idol who became Tendo’s president by a huge margin.

She is popular and does her job well, but underneath her perfect image, she works hard and manipulates situations to her advantage. So she loves ramen and often sneaks around town to try new noodle places. She says “Thanks everybody! Okay, we can do one little encore♪” Mashiro Kuryu (Voice: Suzu Yuki) is a first-year student and vice president of the Gekka Council. She’s super capable and handles all kinds of tasks, from preparing documents to speaking for the shy Alicetia. Some people think she might become the next president of Gekka.
