Willow Guard is an action packed RPG where you play as Ghweros, a member of the Willow Guard. So you’re investigating strange monster attacks on a small village near the northern mountains. In the game is set in a unique fantasy world with animals that have human-like traits, forgotten gods, and a lot of hidden secrets waiting to be discovered. You may also like to download Bashtronaut.
In the gameplay is focused on fast-paced, hack-and-slash combat. So you build a deck of special abilities that help you fight off waves of monsters. The combat has a retro style, with cool pixel art levels. So you can also explore different game modes, like Dungeon Run, where you can jump straight into action without worrying about the story.
When you’re not fighting, you play as Ghweros solving mysteries in the village of Woikos. Moreover you talk to villagers, gather clues, and unlock new locations and characters. Your choices in the game affect the story making it feel like a real interactive experience.
In the game doesn’t use traditional leveling. Instead, you better by upgrading your gear, adding new abilities to your deck or getting better at playing the game. How you make choices in the story will decide what kind of character you become and impact the fate of the village – and maybe even the entire world.
So you can also gather materials by defeating monsters, exploring dungeons, completing quests, or trading with a mysterious Merchant. As well as these materials to craft new cards and upgrade your gear, creating the perfect setup to defeat the evil forces in Tersa.
