Mind Over Magic is colony simulation game where you build and run a magic school. So your job is to keep your powerful mages alive and motivated while preparing them to face the dangers of the Underschool a dangerous maze underground. You’ll study ancient magic, grow rare plants brew potions and raise undead servants. But you also need to stop deadly fog that threatens everything. So you can create the magic school of your dreams by building and customizing every room. Choose from different furniture lighting and decorations to make it unique. As you design your school experiment with layouts to unlock bonuses that help everything run more efficiently.
Beneath your school is the Underschool, a dark labyrinth filled with deadly magic and creatures. The deeper you go, the more rewards you’ll find, but the danger gets stronger the further you explore.
So you will also raise magical creatures to help your school. Many creatures need food care and affection to grow into powerful allies. In they provide rare materials that are important for crafting and building. If you’re feeling ambitious, you can even raise a dragon to help your school. So dragons require special care but can help your mages go on quests to uncover secrets gain powers and shape the future of your academy.
To make life easier you can use magic to help with tasks. For example, undead helpers called Quilted can gather resources, tend to plants, and fix things around the school. So you can also use magic to reduce travel time by placing broom racks for easy flying around the campus.
Your mages will grow or get stronger through your guidance. So you can equip them with powerful gear like potions, relics and magic wands to give them an edge. Customize their daily routines and assign teachers to help them grow in their magic abilities.
What your students learn affects how they contribute to the school. So you can design a curriculum that helps them survive and thrive. As students advance they can learn different spells or specialize in one magic type to unlock ultimate abilities which are crucial for surviving the dangerous Nexus a magical realm beneath the school. Only the strongest mages can face the challenges in the Nexus and break the curse that holds it together.
